ECLIPSE WIN

I know, I know. I haven't updated for almost three months. What have i been doing? No idea. But, i am back, and I have seen ECLIPSE.

Oh, Eclipse. This was the perfect movie. I could go on for years telling you how much I enjoyed it. If you have not seen it, get your ass to a movie theater this second. Really. Go.

Caution : Spoiler Alert

Well the midnight release was like all Twilight midnight releases : filled with annoying little girls. Loud fangirls aside, the energy in that theater was palpable. 13 theaters were sold out where I was at. Thank God for pre -ordering tickets months in advance. I went to the premiere with 3 of my friends who somewhat understand my passion for these movies. No, they're not on my level of twi-hardness, but they get it. All of them were just as pumped as me awaiting the movie. Sitting in that theater for an hour and a half waiting for the previews to come on was like death. I take that back. It was not like death, it was death. But eventually, the previews started and all the fangirls starting squeeing with joy. (At this time, I assume the hand squeezing position with my friends for the entire movie.)

First scene, Riley. Xavier Samuel, you are the man. He was perfect this role in all ways imaginable. He's the very first thing you see, and he does a great job of setting the mood for the movie. Win #1.

Win #2 : The first Bella and Edward scene in the meadow. How great was that? Great. Kristen and Rob looked so at ease and everything flowed so nicely, it was incredibly believable.

Win #3 : Charlie. He was phenomenal. Charlie has always been a really great character, but i felt like he brought something new to the table this time. He was hilarious. The attempted sex talk with Bella was quite possibly the most awkward moment I have ever witnessed, which was great.

(Theses scenes my be out of order, but stay with me.)

Win #4 : Taylor Lautner's body.

Win #5 : Edward's clothes.

Win #6 : The leg hitch scene. This was one of many EPIC wins. I was worried about this scene, wondering if they would get it right. They sure as hell did, thank the Lord Jesus. David Slade opted on using close up shots which made everything more intimate and erotic. All you can see are lips, bodies, hands undoing buttons, legs hitching, panting mouths. "Bella, will you please stop taking your clothes off." was delivered at a perfect time. What a tease.

Win #7 : The proposal. Sorry future husband, but if you don't say those exact words to me, the answer you will be receiving is an astounding no.

Win #8 : The soundtrack.

Win #9 : The tent scene. Hot damn, they got it right. I could literally feel the loathing Edward and Jacob were feeling. Kristen, you are one lucky bitch. Words cannot describe my feelings towards the epicness of this scene. Major win.

Win #10 : Fight sequence. The CGI wolves look better than New Moon, which I didn't think possible. The Edward-Seth-Riley-Victoria fight was ridiculously outstanding. My heart was pounding, and I already knew what was going to happen.

Overall, Eclipse is great. Best of the three by miles and miles. Please go watch it multiple times if you haven't already. Get those ticket sales up Twihards!

One more thing I would like to say. If any of you guys are Twatters and follow KStew411, please tell them how much you appreciate them. KStew411 was the reason of me starting this blog. I'm not sure what I'm going to do without their daily dose of snark. We will miss you both, Bestie and 411 <3>

Go to the movie theater.
<3, A.
