Cameron Bright

A short but sweet post (:

It was announced that some of the stars would be showing up for surprise visits to theaters in certain cities. Of course, I had to be there. My two friends and I went to the theater SIX hours early to make sure we got tickets. We walked around the city and ate dinner and ended up being first in line when we got to the theater again. (four hours early) Long story short, Cameron Bright came waltzing in with cameras and guards a few hours later. He seems like a really nice guy and I like him even more! He's no Robert, but who the hell can compete with him?

ECLIPSE WIN

I know, I know. I haven't updated for almost three months. What have i been doing? No idea. But, i am back, and I have seen ECLIPSE.

Oh, Eclipse. This was the perfect movie. I could go on for years telling you how much I enjoyed it. If you have not seen it, get your ass to a movie theater this second. Really. Go.

Caution : Spoiler Alert

Well the midnight release was like all Twilight midnight releases : filled with annoying little girls. Loud fangirls aside, the energy in that theater was palpable. 13 theaters were sold out where I was at. Thank God for pre -ordering tickets months in advance. I went to the premiere with 3 of my friends who somewhat understand my passion for these movies. No, they're not on my level of twi-hardness, but they get it. All of them were just as pumped as me awaiting the movie. Sitting in that theater for an hour and a half waiting for the previews to come on was like death. I take that back. It was not like death, it was death. But eventually, the previews started and all the fangirls starting squeeing with joy. (At this time, I assume the hand squeezing position with my friends for the entire movie.)

First scene, Riley. Xavier Samuel, you are the man. He was perfect this role in all ways imaginable. He's the very first thing you see, and he does a great job of setting the mood for the movie. Win #1.

Win #2 : The first Bella and Edward scene in the meadow. How great was that? Great. Kristen and Rob looked so at ease and everything flowed so nicely, it was incredibly believable.

Win #3 : Charlie. He was phenomenal. Charlie has always been a really great character, but i felt like he brought something new to the table this time. He was hilarious. The attempted sex talk with Bella was quite possibly the most awkward moment I have ever witnessed, which was great.

(Theses scenes my be out of order, but stay with me.)

Win #4 : Taylor Lautner's body.

Win #5 : Edward's clothes.

Win #6 : The leg hitch scene. This was one of many EPIC wins. I was worried about this scene, wondering if they would get it right. They sure as hell did, thank the Lord Jesus. David Slade opted on using close up shots which made everything more intimate and erotic. All you can see are lips, bodies, hands undoing buttons, legs hitching, panting mouths. "Bella, will you please stop taking your clothes off." was delivered at a perfect time. What a tease.

Win #7 : The proposal. Sorry future husband, but if you don't say those exact words to me, the answer you will be receiving is an astounding no.

Win #8 : The soundtrack.

Win #9 : The tent scene. Hot damn, they got it right. I could literally feel the loathing Edward and Jacob were feeling. Kristen, you are one lucky bitch. Words cannot describe my feelings towards the epicness of this scene. Major win.

Win #10 : Fight sequence. The CGI wolves look better than New Moon, which I didn't think possible. The Edward-Seth-Riley-Victoria fight was ridiculously outstanding. My heart was pounding, and I already knew what was going to happen.

Overall, Eclipse is great. Best of the three by miles and miles. Please go watch it multiple times if you haven't already. Get those ticket sales up Twihards!

One more thing I would like to say. If any of you guys are Twatters and follow KStew411, please tell them how much you appreciate them. KStew411 was the reason of me starting this blog. I'm not sure what I'm going to do without their daily dose of snark. We will miss you both, Bestie and 411 <3>

Go to the movie theater.

EPIC : Happy Birthday KStew / The Runaways

Disclaimer : It is very late right now, but I felt the urge to post. Plus, if I put off posting until tomorrow, it wouldn't be as good because if wouldn't still be Kristen's birthday, and I would have slept off all the movie-vibes. After seeing the movie, I feel like I need to smash shit and cuss and booze-it-up and belt out Runaways tunes, so if an unusual amount of profanities occur, just know that I warned you. :p

First, I want to give KStew a gargantuan-ginormous-humongous-asstastic
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
20 means she is no longer a teen! Welcome to adulthood. (: Even though I'm pretty sure she has been an unofficial adult since she was 11. I hope Kristen had an awesome time doing whatever the hell she did for her big 2 0.

Now onto The Runaways

A surprisingly good movie. Maybe not the best movie you'll ever see, but it is a damn good biopic. I felt like such a proud mama tonight and my friend had no idea what I was freaking out about the whole time. She understands my love for KStew, but I guess I out-weirded her tonight. She just doesn't understand... IT.
Her acting was superb. Don't normally use weird words like superb, but her performance calls for an extra special word. And BabyFanning surprisingly kept up with her, though if Kristen wasn't there and Dakota had to carry the whole movie, I don't think she would have done as well. They really fed off each other, as cliche as that may sound. Kristen made an excellent Joan and DFann made a pretty kick ass Cherie.
The entire movie was literally just sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. And I loved it. They made it obvious that cocaine, unidentified pills, and alcohol were obviously used in The Runaways' path to fame. Floria Sigismondi and the producers did well in portraying the ages of the girls right in the beginning. Cherie goes from first getting her period to becoming skanky looking sex kitten in the middle, then becoming a strung out drug addict, then back to a normal ish teenage girl.

The actors in the band I felt, looked and played the real life members well. (Did anyone know that chick from Whip It was the bass player? I would say she got the shit end of the stick..) Joan, in the movie, didn't really care for her band mates besides Cherie. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure she loved them, though she seemed to have a special bond with Cherie. Not in just the sexual way, but they genuinely seemed to care for each other. And that's proved at the end when Crimson and Clover is playing on the radio and Cherie looks happy for Joan and her success.

Okay, the kiss. Was that really necessary to have everyone throwing a bitch fit over? "Kristen kisses a girl?! What?! Its not Rpattz?! Its not Twilight related?! OMG I might die." First of all, it lasted all of two seconds. The erm, foreplay, was nice leading up to it though, don't you think? Kristen, you can blow smoke into my mouth any day... Going on.

After seeing JettStew having a throw down in the recording booth, I want to throw a fit like that, every single day. I want to shout fuck at the top of my lungs and bang on glass and throw chairs and mics around and look awesome doing it. She made bitch fits cool just then.

Her vocals were great. I Love Playing With Fire -- so amazing. And all her like, acapella-messing-around singing sounded legit as well. I really felt like she was Joan then. It felt like a very normal thing to do when you're writing songs about sex and hard core things. Kristen did so well in truly becoming Jett. Her "cool slouch" was on point, her I'm-going-to-beat-the-shit-out-of-you attitude was spot on, and even her guitar playing stance was perfection. KStew did her studying, and you could tell.

If you haven't seen it yet, go watch The Runaways. While you're at, go watch all her movies. Go find a closing Blockbuster and buy a shit ton of DVDs for $4.99. Hence, what I just did. I think I got four Kristen Stewart movies? And all for less than 5 dollars each! Woot.
Also go check out 'Kstew is better than you'. A truly great blog.

A Ridiculous Amount of Topics

A tip for all you bloggers : save your blog periodically as you write it. I just learned that the hard way. This entry was indeed, almost finished, until my old ass computer decided to completely die and crash therefore losing all my words. Damn. Well, here it goes again.

I haven't blogged in a while, and a lot of sparkly, great shit has gone down. Let's start with Topic Number One : The Oscars. Hot Damn. Really KStew? Did you really just trump all your other dresses in one night with one seemingly innocent outfit? Yes. Indeed you did. This midnight blue, strapless, holy piece of fabric is AMAZING. The color looks fantastic on her pale skin, and the up-do was beyond anything else. She and Taylor presented the horror 'montage' quite nicely as well. Yes, Kristen cleared her throat on stage. We can all stop going crazy now. It was not a big deal. Like she said on Leno last night, she wouldn't have been able to finish the sentence without the throat clear, which would have been worse. So yeah, she cleared her throat at the Oscars. Who cares. This bring me to my next topic.

Topic Number Two : Jay Leno last night. This quite possibly might be KStew's best talk show appearance ever. She was witty, hilarious, calm, pretty poised, and the audience responded really well to her. She and Jay also seem to have a really easy time talking together, which ultimately results in a kickass interview. The things she said were genuinely funny. Oh and the dress was ridiculously fabulous. Only Kristen can make a long sleeved dress look sexy.

Topic Number Three : The Runaways Clip. Also has to do with the Leno appearance last night. I LOVED the I Love Playing With Fire clip. We've already heard Kristen sing in Into The Wild so I knew she had the chops. However, I was sort of nervous about how she was going to portray Joan Jett. Joan has a uniquely raspy voice, and I didn't know if Kristen could pull it off. But guess what, she sure as hell did it. Kristen sounds fantastic singing like Joan, and its just as good as the original. She said she was "pulling her hair out" about the clip, but I'm not sure why. It was GREAT.

Topic Number Four : Hanky Panky. After the interview with Leno, KStew returned to play 'hanky panky' with that Fieri guy and Jay. I was not aware of this fact until earlier today when I got tweeted the link to the video. This quite possibly could have been my favorite Kristen moment, ever. If you guys haven't seen it, Youtube it. I would post the video, but I haven't figured out how to yet. It is definitely worth taking the time to watch.

Topic Number Five : Walmart is the Shit. A few entries ago, I posted about how I will be buying the Walmart copy of the New Moon DVD. If you need any more persuasion to buy it from there, here you go. Walmart is featuring "New Moon Hotspots" in 3500 locations. These said hotspots will be selling countless shirts and Twi Gear. The Midnight DVD release parties will take place in these really hot spots. For the first 100 in line for the release party, you will receive New Moon stickers, temporary tattoos, and trading cards. To some of you, this may not sound all that great. But if you're an obsessed twelve year old girl, this is hot shit. Personally, I would get there early just so I could get free temporary tattoos of The Puppy to tattoo on my ass.
Fuck Team Jacob. (Sorry, Edward haters.)

Now all of this brings me to Topic Number Six : The Eclipse Trailer. OH MY GAWD. It is fantastic. I was trying to refrain from watching it, so I could share the viewing experience with my friends before Remember Me comes out tomorrow, but I couldn't do it. The sets look good, the busted Bella wig looks decent (not nearly as bad as the pics), the color looks good (not really the blue tones or the golden hues of Twilight and New Moon.. More of just a normal movie), and if I was looking forward to seeing it, I am really anxious now. The dialogue is a little corny, but hey, its Twilight we're talking about here. Personally, I think "I will fight for you until your heart stops beating." is way better than "So the lion fell in love with the lamb." Props to Melissa Rosenberg.

Basically, after commenting on this post, you need to
1. Watch the entire Jay Leno show.
2. Play Hanky Panky with a friend, and send me the video.
3. Plan on attending the Walmart DVD release party.
4. Watch the Eclipse trailer more times than necessary.

BAFTA Win

That's right, suck it, haters. She won. She looked fantastic, she didn't drop the award, and she won the equivalent of an OSCAR. Hopefully, that means she will be winning an Oscar in the very near future.

I loved her Chanel dress. A lot of people were saying how it didn't look good in pictures, but it looked okay on film. Personally, I think it looked fantastic on and off camera. Her style allows her to wear so many different kinds of outfits, and I love how she accessorizes.

This tiny piece of Chanel goodness is incredible.

Kstew looked genuinely happy about winning the BAFTA. In the interview immediately after the win, she looked as emotional as you'll ever see her. She looked shocked, excited, and a little bewildered, but managed to carry herself with grace, as usual.

I'm so happy for her win, and all you haters can go die in a hole.

The YH Premiere & Upcomings

Honestly, is it even possible to look this good? FierceBitchStew was in full effect last night.

As you all may know, the LA Yellow Handkerchief premiere was last night. SHE LOOKED AMAZING. The mullet is growing out nicely, and I really like the way it looks now. 20 points goes to her makeup artist and stylist. And whoever picks out all her shoes because they bring fuckawesome to a different level.

Can we please just talk about her legs for a minute? I mean, seriously? I want these.

Kristen announced that she will be presenting at the Oscars alongside BabyLautner on March 7. Last year, only Rob presented, so I guess its Taylor and Kristen's turn. I can't wait until she's actually on that stage for winning an Oscar. It is inevitable, and it is going to happen soon, I can feel it.

If you missed it, KStew is also up for a BAFTA award, which is pretty huge. (For any of you who don't know, BAFTA stands for British Academy of Film and Television Arts) And from the looks of it, she's pretty stoked. "I feel so funny about it. Really cool people have won and really cool people are up for it this year." She is nominated for the Rising Star award, which I'm thinking is the same as Breakout Actress or something like that. Also nominated for a BAFTA award is Adventureland costar Jesse Eisenberg, who I happen to be in love with. Oh, and Carey Mulligan, but the only thing I know that she's been in is Pride and Prejudice. But apparently she's pretty big now according to the latest Vanity Fair article.

Supposedly, Robert Pattinson is to present an award at the BAFTAs.. Will he be presenting Kstew's award..? Hopefully. I would like to point out now, that I am not one of those crazy fans who thinks Robert and Kristen HAVE to be together 24/7. Nor do I believe they must be dating. Personally, I think they're just really great friends who were put in the same situation and have a lot in common. If you were in her position, wouldn't YOU be hanging out with Rob? Yes. They get stuck in their hotel rooms everyday, so their options are to hang out with each other, get mobbed by the paps, or stay alone in their room. I choose option one. Does that mean I'm opposed to them dating? No. Personally, I think anyone is better than TheAngarano, and hey, who better than Rob?
And now, I leave you on a good note --

New Moon Discussion

Haven't had time to give my thoughts on New Moon, so I will now divulge my inner most thoughts.. Treasure this.

First off, I thought all together, it was loads better than Twilight. Love Twilight more than I love life itself, but New Moon was on a different ownage level. Everyone keeps saying that the acting was much better in New Moon than Twilight. I suppose I can see that.. Its just the whole Bella-walking-into-class-with-the-fan-blowing scene that I thought was a little poorly acted. I have SO MUCH LOVE for Robert Pattinson, but he looked a little dumb. But I understood what he was going for, he just didn't pull it off too great. But honestly, what actor could pull that off? Its an odd scene that Stephanie Meyer wrote, and it looks much better in our minds than it does on screen, no matter who is acting it out.

Jude Law "Is that the new strawberry shampoo I smell?"

Kristen Stewart owns everyone's ass. CC of "Kstew is Better than You" knows what I'm saying. Yes, Kristen blinks a lot. Yes, she likes to bite her lip. Yes, she is totally badass, and you are jealous of everything she does. Honestly, I think all the haters of Kristen Stewart are just jealous that they can't be like her, so they express hatred to hide their closeted longing to be her.

I hated New Moon the book because I am 100% against Team Jacob. Do I love Taylor Lautner? Absolutely. Do I objectify him? Definitely. Did he make me switch teams? Hell no. I did enjoy looking at Taylor's new and improved body throughout New Moon, but it doesn't change the fact that Jacob is an annoying, whiney child that doesn't take a hint. BELLA DOESN'T LIKE YOU. Get the fuck over yourself and go imprint on a hooker.

The golden tones of New Moon were much more pleasant than the blues of Twilight. Chris Weitz is supergreat and gets 20 points. I would love for him to come back and direct Breaking Dawn because that would be really, really fuckawesome. The entire cast,(especially Kristen) talked non-stop on how they really loved Chris. Breaking Dawn would be stressful to shoot with all the blood, sex, and babies, so I think having Chris on board for that would make every one feel better and result in an amazing last movie. *Though with this cast, it'll be hard to fuck it up.

Twilight story line = 20 times better, but New Moon the movie actually kept me engaged. Of course I was going to see the movie, but I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as Twilight. (Robert Pattinson is indeed the main reason of my love for all things Twilight.) Taylor surprisingly held his own as the main supporting character. Even with that BUSTED wig.

"Does this turn you on?"

Bottom line, I enjoyed New Moon more than I expected to. The acting was good, the picture was good, and the plot kept me watching. (Amazingly) Props to Chris Weitz and the cast that I love oh so much. Kristen Stewart continues to own everybody and look great while doing it. I give New Moon 4 and a half stars out of 5.

PS: Everyone go check out CC at KStew is Better Than You. She is amazeballs.
